General Maintenance 

Contacts

All contractors and maintenance of the shared areas of the apartment block is arranged and instructed by the Management Company. Only contact the Management Company about any queries not the contractors direct. 

A log of when each contractor attends site is on the notice board of apartment block at 30-40 Wharf Mews


Refuse

The local authority provide refuse bins for each plot and collected weekly. There is a shared bin store in the rear carpark just for use of the apartment occupiers. Click Here for details on the council’s website.

All additional rubbish must be arranged to be taken away by each occupier and not left.


Cleaning

The shared internal stairs and corridors for the apartment block 30-40 Wharf Mews are being cleaned for the immediate future by residents of this block as agreed with the Management Company.

 


Window Cleaning

All external surfaces of windows to the apartment block 30-40 are the responsbility of the Management Company. Current proposals are being agreed with residents.


Electrical

The general and emergency lighting for the shared areas of the apartment are maintained every 6 months by the Management Company’s contractor. This includes the maintenance of the smoke-ventilation and intercom systems.

A resident is completing and issuing monthly emergency-light checks to the management Company.


Landscaping

The Management Company is currently agreeing with residents the scope of maintenance and improvements for the external landscaped and carpark areas.
